Cork Globe
There are many ways to document your travels. You can share your pictures on Facebook, post them on your blog or stick pins in a huge map that you tack up on your wall. I’m partial to the large map method, partly because I like the visual reminder of all the places that I’ve been, and partly because it’s very satisfying to poke those pins into place. The only problem is that you need to devote a large amount of wall real estate to a giant map and, frankly, sometimes you might want to hang something else up. This Cork Globe seems like the solution to a map-loving traveler’s problems. The compact globe allows you to poke pins in to all the places you’ve visited and even string together routes that criss-cross the continents without taking up much space in your home. It stands just about 12-inches high and can sit easily on top of a table or a bookcase. This will leave you with a great conversation piece and a lot of wall space that you can fill up with photos from your travels.
